Renee Buyck Romberger

Renee Buyck Romberger is the Chief Government Affairs Officer at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. She is a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Phi Kappa Phi honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and a student-athlete (cheerleader). Mrs. Romberger holds a Master in Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and she is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mrs. Romberger is a past member of the College of Charleston Foundation Board and Alumni Association Board and a previous president of the Alumni Upstate Chapter. Her additional professional and community involvement includes the Board of Directors of the American Hospital Association’s Association for Community Health Improvement, Welvista, the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina, and Access Health Spartanburg. Originally from St. Matthews, S.C., Mrs. Romberger resides in Greenville, S.C. She has three children and five grandchildren.
