Pamela O'Hearn

Pamela O'Hearn is a highly experienced biology instructor and academic leader, currently serving as the Interim Chair of the Department of Math and Physical Sciences at the College of Eastern Idaho since January 2018. Prior to this role, O'Hearn was a postdoctoral researcher at Idaho State University from March 2017 to January 2022 and held various teaching positions there from 2007 to 2013, including lecturer and graduate teaching assistant. O'Hearn has an extensive background in wildlife and biological research, having worked in various capacities with the U.S. Geological Survey, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, alongside earlier roles in wildlife management in Rhode Island. Educationally, O'Hearn holds a Ph.D. in Biology with a focus on biology education, a Master's in Zoology/Animal Biology, and a Bachelor's in Wildlife Biology and Management, all from recognized institutions.
