Floyd Garvey has a strong background in information technology and information management. Floyd has worked in various leadership roles, including Director of Information Technology and Information Management at the College of Nurses of Ontario and Director of Information Technology Services at Ontario Health. Prior to this, they held positions at Health Shared Services Ontario/Services communs pour la santé Ontario, where they provided leadership in directing, planning, managing, and implementing the information technology strategy.
