Ed Jess

Ed Jess has extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Ed started their career in 1993 with Syntex Canada as a Territory Area Specialist. Ed then moved on to Hoffmann-La Roche in 1995 where they worked as a Pharmaceutical Area Specialist until 1998. Ed joined Merck Frosst Canada Ltd. in 1998 and held various roles including Professional Sales Representative, Field Sales Development Specialist, and Business Manager. In 2009, they joined Med Access as a Sales Director before moving to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta in 2012. At the College, they held the positions of Director, Physician Prescribing Practices and Director, Prescribing & Analytics before being promoted to Chief Innovation Officer in October 2019. Ed has a strong background in sales, management, and pharmaceutical expertise.

Ed Jess attended the University of Alberta from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a BA degree in Economics. In 2023, they obtained a certification in AI Strategy for Executives from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
