Keely McBride is an experienced professional in public health and policy, currently serving as Manager of Policy at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta since May 2022. In a concurrent role at the Government of Alberta, McBride has held various positions including Divisional Coordinator and Issues Manager since March 2020, and previously worked as Project Manager for the Opioid Response at Alberta Health from December 2016 to March 2020. McBride has a strong background in harm reduction policy development, having worked as a Policy Advisor for Harm Reduction at Alberta Health, and has also played key roles in public health initiatives related to sexually transmitted infections and opioid response strategies.
