Megan Sheehan is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, where contributions to the Sociology Department include developing and teaching diverse courses such as SOCI 121 Introduction to Anthropology and SOCI 337Q Cultural Journeys in Latin America. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Lehigh University and conducting community-based participatory research at the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology. Additional roles involved dissertation research on Latin American migration while affiliated with the Fulbright Association, teaching anthropology courses at the University of Arizona, and translating historical texts for Arizona State Museum. Megan Sheehan holds a PhD and MA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
