Angela Walters Small

Angela Walters Small has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. Angela served as the Public Information Officer and Director of Communications at the College of Southern Maryland from February 2020. Prior to that, they were the Media Relations Coordinator and Assistant Public Information Officer from June 2018 to February 2020. Before joining the College of Southern Maryland, Angela worked as a Public Information Specialist at Calvert County Government from October 2014 to June 2018. Angela also held roles at OMNITEC Solutions, Inc., where they worked as the Manager of Strategic Leadership Support from December 2013 to October 2014, and as a Senior Strategic Analyst from February 2011 to 2013. Angela's early career included a role as a Supervisor-Nuclear Communications at Constellation Energy Company from 1994 to 2004, and as a Reporter, Photographer, and Editor at Freestate Publishing from 1988 to 1994. Throughout their career, Angela has gained expertise in public information, media relations, and strategic analysis.
