Jeff Meeks

Jeff Meeks possesses a diverse professional background, currently serving as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor at The College of the Florida Keys since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a City Councilman for Seat 1, where responsibilities included legislative duties and budget oversight, and a PADI Divemaster with Key Dives, focusing on scuba diving activities and safety. Jeff's engineering expertise was honed as a Senior Quality Engineer at Joy Global, where initiatives to reduce quality-related costs were developed, and as a Manager at P&H Mining Equipment, where significant operational improvements were achieved. Previous military service as a Support Operations Officer and Maintenance Chief in the US Army included logistical management for aviation operations. Jeff is also an experienced educator, having taught various courses as an adjunct faculty member at multiple universities. Educational credentials range from a BS in Professional Aeronautics to certifications in project management, Six Sigma, and logistics.
