Sagar Panchal has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Sagar is currently working at CollegeDekho as a Product Manager since April 2023. Previously, they worked at Bidgely from June 2020 to March 2023, where they held the roles of Associate Product Manager and Software Engineer. As an Associate Product Manager, they doubled the widget catalogue through customer analysis, resulting in a $4.17 million increase in Annual Recurring Revenue. Sagar also showed excellent leadership skills by cutting costs by $150,000 through negotiation and integration of US property data. As a Software Engineer, they empowered the analytics team by collaborating with the product team to build Looker dashboards tracking 24 SAAS metrics. Sagar also developed a multivariate email subject line A/B testing framework, leading to a 14% boost in open rates across utilities. Additionally, they worked at Inria as a Research Intern (Computer Vision) in 2019. There, they drove innovations in autonomous vehicles by pioneering a pedestrian detection system and proposing a semantically segmented system, resulting in a 53% reduction in Log Average Miss Rate. Moreover, they significantly improved processing efficiency by increasing the processed frames per second from 7 to 40. Before that, they were a Data Scientist intern at Blinkit in 2018, where they revolutionized inventory management through AI. Sagar collaborated with the inventory management team to forecast demand trends and incorporated cannibalization impact into the forecast model. In 2018, they participated in the Google Summer of Code program, where they built an automated Nutritional Information Extractor using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for a nutrition database. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Edufyy in 2017 and served as a Sub-Head (Tech-Team) at Spring Fest from July 2016 to January 2017.

Sagar Panchal completed their Higher Secondary Education from GMSSSS, Sector-20, Panchkula, Haryana, from 2013 to 2015. Sagar pursued Science (Non-Medical) during this period. After that, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Dual Degree in Engineering Product Design and Manufacturing with a field of study in Industrial Engineering.
