Darren Schumer

Darren Schumer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Darren started their career as a Purchasing Manager at Loews Hotels from 1996 to 2000. Darren then worked as a Project Manager at Plaza Construction Company for a short period in 2000. Following this, they joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a Vice President/Project Development Services, managing a team of Project Managers and overseeing a multi-million dollar construction portfolio. After leaving Jones Lang LaSalle, they worked at Swig Equities/Falcon Pacific Construction as a Vice President/Director of Construction, overseeing commercial construction and renovation projects. Darren then joined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Project Executive and Cost Engineer in 2010.

Darren subsequently worked as a Principal at Descom Projects, providing project management services for construction, renovation, and relocation projects. In 2012, they joined Turner & Townsend Ferzan Robbins as an Associate Director for a brief period before joining Sierra Real Estate as a Senior Vice President of Construction Services. At Sierra Real Estate, they specialized in providing construction management services for commercial and residential properties.

Most recently, Darren was employed at Lee & Associates NYC as the Director of Construction from 2019 to 2023. Darren is currently the Director of Corporate Interior Services at Colliers Project Leaders since February 2023. Throughout their career, Darren has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing construction projects, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Darren Schumer attended the University of Delaware from 1983 to 1987, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Darren later obtained a Certificate in Construction Management from New York University, although the exact duration of their study is unknown.
