Principal Ejection Seats Test Engineer at Collins Aerospace

Miguel Camelo Rosas is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in design and testing roles. Currently serving as the Principal Ejection Seats Test Engineer at Collins Aerospace since December 2018, Miguel leads development and qualification testing for ejection seat systems. Prior to this role, Miguel held positions as Lead Ejection Seats Design Engineer and Operations Program Manager at UTC Aerospace Systems, contributing to various programs, including Airbus Commercial OE Programs. At Pratt & Whitney, Miguel led a team in developing the Externals package for the PW1700G-JM engine and worked on numerous airframe programs. Miguel's career also includes experience as an Airframe Design Engineer at Piper Aircraft, focusing on the PiperJet project. Miguel holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Science in Environmental, Sustainability, and Renewable Energy Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, complemented by a study abroad program at ISAE-SUPAERO.
