Katherine D. Collins

Kate Collins oversees Collins’ accounting, HR, and IT departments and works with leadership across several disciplines companywide to coordinate strategic planning efforts. In this role, she cultivates and continuously seeks to modernize scalable processes to improve efficiency and reduce the number of organizational layers to improve both employee and client experiences with Collins.

Kate joined Collins in November 2003 as the communications coordinator having come from a background in lifestyle marketing and event production. She jumped into the role, developing a small communications department to handle Collins’ visual and written communications needs. In addition to oversight of marketing collateral, website, sponsorships, trade show involvement, company intranet, and various other communications efforts, her accomplishments include the production of an SMPS award-winning internal newsletter and co-author credits on two FHWA reference manuals.

Kate strives to build an effective culture that drives engagement, well-being, and organizational performance. She values entrepreneurship, accountability, flexibility, and finding value in everyone’s strengths.
