Matthew Crowther-Townsend

Matthew Crowther-Townsend has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the hospitality and travel industry. Matthew currently holds the position of VP, Global Accounts at Collinson since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked for American Express Global Business Travel as a Global Client General Manager from January 2018 to December 2021. Matthew also served as the Director of Travel Industry Partnerships at Global Hospitality Services from November 2013 to January 2018. Before that, they held the position of Director of Sales at Montcalm Hotel's Collection and Flemings Hotel Mayfair, and Director of Sales - EMEA at Kings Place Events. Additionally, they have experience as a National Account Manager MICE UK at Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, an Account Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group, and a Business Development Manager at Stage Electrics. Matthew began their career as a Touring Stage Manager for the Saturday Night Fever UK Tour.

Matthew Crowther-Townsend attended Spalding Grammar School from 1990 to 1999. Matthew then went on to study Stage Management and obtained a BA Hons degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama from 1999 to 2002.
