Alex O'Connor has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Partner at Collyer Bristow LLP since September 2011. Prior to this role, O'Connor held the position of Partner at McGrigors from October 2005 to August 2011 and worked as a Senior Solicitor at Norton Rose Group between 1999 and 2005. O'Connor began a legal career as a Solicitor at Cripps Harries Hall from February 1997 to June 1999, and initially trained as a Trainee Solicitor at Linklaters, where the transition to Solicitor in the real estate department occurred from September 1990 to January 1997. Academic qualifications include a CPE and Law Society finals degree from the College of Law, Chancery Lane (1988-1990) and a BA in English and History from Rhodes University (1983-1987). Education also includes attendance at Michaelhouse.
