Caroline Cranz, CMB®, CRCM has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Caroline is currently serving as the SVP, Chief Compliance Officer & Risk Officer at Colonial Companies since September 2018. Before that, they were the Vice President, Business Unit Compliance Manager at the same company from October 2017 to September 2018.
Prior to joining Colonial Companies, Caroline worked at Pacific Union Financial, LLC as the Vice President, Mortgage Servicing Compliance from February 2016 to October 2017.
From 2011 to 2016, Caroline had multiple roles at Mr. Cooper, including Vice President, Compliance - Examination Management from September 2015 to February 2016, Vice President, Operations Risk & Controls Oversight from September 2013 to September 2015, AVP, Servicing Operations, Risk & Controls from February 2013 to September 2013, Loan Administration Manager - Quality Assurance from March 2012 to February 2013, and Service Release Manager from March 2011 to March 2012.
Caroline'searlier experiences include working as a Fixed Income Investment Analyst and Project Acquisition Analyst / Closer at Beal Bank from August 2007 to April 2010, Investment Research & Analysis Intern at Goldcrest Investments from May 2007 to July 2007, and Associate at Springboard Capital from April 2006 to April 2007.
Caroline Cranz, CMB®, CRCM obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Flagler College in 2007. Caroline also holds additional certifications including Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) from the Mortgage Bankers Association, obtained in 2023, and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association, obtained in 2021.
