Sharmini Sivathas

Sharmini Sivathas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and project management within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Executive Director of FirstChoice & Fund Services Technology at Colonial First State since October 2021, Sharmini leads the Transitional Service Exit program in collaboration with the CBA divestment team. Prior to this role, Sharmini held the position of General Manager of Business Enabling Technologies at MLC Australia, overseeing a team of around 600 technology professionals. Sharmini's career at AMP, spanning over two decades, included roles such as Technology Director for Separation & Simplification, where major technology initiatives involved significant asset transfers, and Director of Technology & Operations Services, leading IT service delivery for over 350 professionals. Sharmini holds a Master’s degree in Systems Design from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of East London.
