Angela Kolar

Angela Kolar is Colonial Pipeline’s Senior Vice President of Operations Services and Chief Risk Officer. Appointed to this role in June 2017, Angela oversees the company’s Enterprise Risk, Safety, Compliance, Asset Integrity, Technical Training, Project Management & Implementation, and Safety Management System functions.

In her previous role as Southeast District Director of Operations, she oversaw operations and maintenance across five states. In 2004, she joined Colonial as Senior Accountant and has since transitioned through various leadership positions including Director of Organizational Effectiveness, Director of Compliance, Operations Manager, and Business Manager. Prior to Colonial, she held positions with a public accounting firm and later with global pharmaceutical company, Pfizer Inc.

In the industry, Angela is Past-President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of Women’s Energy Network and currently serves on the American Petroleum Institute Pipeline Safety Excellence Sub-Committee. Angela is currently chair of the Pipeline Safety Management System (SMS) Industry Team.

Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University.
