James Wahrenberger

James Wahrenberger has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. James currently holds the position of Director, OT Systems and Software at Colonial Pipeline Company since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager SCADA at Colonial Pipeline Company from October 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Colonial Pipeline Company, James served as the Manager, SCADA at Enable Midstream Partners from July 2017 to October 2021. James also worked as a Managing Director at Stonebridge Consulting from October 2016 to April 2017.

Prior to their time at Stonebridge Consulting, James held various roles at Schneider Electric. James was the Director, Oil and Gas Solutions from January 2013 to July 2016 and the Program Director from December 2009 to December 2013.

Earlier in their career, James worked at Devon Energy as a Senior Supervisor, E&P Solutions, Drilling and Well Engineering from January 2009 to July 2009 and as a Supervisor, E&P Services - Drilling and SCADA from April 2003 to January 2009. James also worked at Ocean Energy as a Project Manager, E&P Applications from 1999 to 2003, Seagull Energy as a Desktop Manager from 1997 to 1999, and Morgan Stanley as a Programmer/Analyst from 1990 to 1997.

James also worked at Van Kampen American Capital as a Programmer Analyst in 1990. Overall, they have extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on SCADA systems and software.

James Wahrenberger earned a BS in Computer Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. James then went on to pursue an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from the University of St. Thomas between 2001 and 2005.
