David Stifter

David Stifter is Managing Director, Finance & Accounting systems at Colony Capital, Inc. Mr. Stifter is responsible for data architecture and process improvement for the firm as well as overseeing the accounting and finance transition projects for major acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Stifter has held a number of roles at Colony since joining the firm in 2006 including Chief Compliance Officer of the Colony Realty Partners platform.

Prior to joining Colony in 2006, Mr. Stifter was a senior project manager leading an internal consulting group for Investor Bank & Trust, a custody fund accounting firm later acquired by State Street.

Mr. Stifter received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and later his MBA graduating with high honors from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
