Brian Schousek

Brian Schousek is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal R&D Engineer at Coloplast since February 2021, Brian also contributes as a Medical Device Engineer at Vital Innovations LLC, specializing in Systems Engineering, verification and validation, and data analysis. Prior roles include Systems Engineer positions at Medtronic and Cardialen, where responsibilities included telemetry performance testing and developing requirements for novel defibrillation methods. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering, Brian has held various engineering roles throughout a career that began in 1992, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
