Principal Engineer at Color

Andrey Kislyuk has over 18 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Andrey is currently working at Color as a Principal Engineer since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Exascale Biosystems, where they were the Founder since February 2016.

Andrey also worked at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative as a Principal Engineer from January 2017 to May 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at DNAnexus, including Director of Software Architecture from September 2015 to February 2016, Architect of technical development from July 2014 to September 2015, and Senior Software Engineer from September 2011 to July 2014.

Additionally, Andrey has experience working at Gentoo Linux as a Developer from 2008 to 2014, Pacific Biosciences as Scientist, Bioinformatics from February 2010 to September 2011, Georgia Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant from 2005 to 2010, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Research Assistant from 2003 to 2005.

Andrey Kislyuk holds a PhD degree in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 2005 and 2010. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a BA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics from 2000 to 2004.
