Jeroen Van den Akker, currently the Head of Bioinformatics at Color, has extensive experience in molecular diagnostics and genetic testing. Prior to their current role, Jeroen served as a Product Support Manager at Agendia and worked as a PhD student at the Academic Medical Center. Jeroen has a background in Biomedical Engineering and Physics, with a PhD from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's degree from Eindhoven University of Technology. Throughout their career, Jeroen has been involved in various research projects, scientific publications, and collaborations with academic and biotech groups to advance the field of bioinformatics and personalized medicine.
