Leah Pryor-Lease has a diverse and extensive work experience. Leah currently holds the role of Director of Community and External Relations at Colorado Access since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Interim District Director and Deputy District Director for the Office of Congressman Jason Crow CD6 in the U.S. House of Representatives. Leah also worked as the Program Director for the Rights, Faith, and Democracy Collaborative at Proteus Fund from March 2018 to June 2022. Leah Pryor-Lease has a strong background in nonprofit work, having served as a Program Officer at Voqal, a Strategic Partnerships Officer at Gill Foundation, and the Director of School Partnerships at Peace First. Leah also has experience in education, working in various roles at the NYC Department of Education and Project Reach Youth. Additionally, they were a Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education and an Education & Training Specialist at Hetrick-Martin Institute.
Leah Pryor-Lease obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology/Health & Public Policy from Brandeis University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Later, in 2012-2013, they pursued a course in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Regis University.

Our focus is driving improvements in quality, member experience, outcomes, and cost. We care for individuals, families, and children who receive health care under Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) and Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid Program).
