Melissa Kaiel, LPC, NCC, is a seasoned behavioral health specialist with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and mental health counseling. Currently serving as a Behavior Health Specialist II at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless since July 2019, Melissa provides clinical interventions, case management, and training for staff to enhance therapeutic environments for children and families. Additionally, Melissa contributes as a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainer at Cornell University. Previous roles include Clinical Director at the Colorado "I Have A Dream" Foundation and Primary Clinician at The Home for Little Wanderers. Melissa holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Oregon.
