Sarah Vernon-Brunner

Sarah Vernon-Brunner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in both the sports and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at the Colorado High School Activities Association since February 2022, Sarah previously held roles including Head of Operations and Finance at Simple Startup and Financial Officer at CHSAA. With a notable tenure at Skirt Sports, Inc. from 2006 to 2020, Sarah ascended through various positions, ultimately becoming President and leading the company from a startup phase to an industry leader in women’s athletic apparel. Sarah's early career includes experience in grants administration at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Sarah holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.
