Nate Thoreson

Nate Thoreson has extensive experience in outdoor education, safety management, and team leadership. Currently serving as a Staffing Specialist and Director at Avid4 Adventure since May 2017, Nate oversees various outdoor activities such as biking, canoeing, and rock climbing, with a strong emphasis on safety and communication. Additionally, Nate contributes to the Colorado High School Cycling League in race operations and excels as the Farm Manager at Cottonwood Farms. Previous roles include Operations Director and Co-Founder of St. Kilda Rickshaws, Manager at Trampoline Gelato, and multiple positions within Avid4 Adventure, including Summer Intern and Multi-Sport Instructor. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Adventure Education from Fort Lewis College and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
