Jeff Tieman has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Jeff is currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Colorado Hospital Association since 2022. Prior to that, they were the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Vermont Association of Hospitals and Health Systems from 2016 to 2022. Jeff also worked at The Catholic Health Association of the United States as the Chief Of Staff from 2004 to 2016. In this role, they led and managed health reform initiatives, strategic communications, and the office of the president and CEO. Before that, Jeff served as the Washington Bureau Chief of Modern Healthcare, where they managed the coverage of federal health policy for a weekly business magazine serving the hospital community.
Jeff Tieman attended Cherry Creek High School for their high school education. Jeff then went on to study at Colorado College from 1992 to 1996, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University.
