Daniel Sandberg

Lead Instructor at Colorado Outward Bound School

Daniel Sandberg has a diverse work experience in the outdoor recreation and education field. Daniel'sroles range from being a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ohio University to working as an Outdoor School Manager at Eastern Mountain Sports, where they managed and taught various outdoor programs. Daniel has also served as a Lead Instructor at Colorado Outward Bound School and an Avalanche Instructor at Colorado Mountain School. Daniel's most recent role was as the Outdoor Recreation Program Assistant Director at Montana State University-Bozeman.

Daniel Sandberg completed their Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Spanish at Saint Michael's College in 2009. Daniel then pursued a Master's degree in Recreation and Sports Pedagogy at Ohio University from 2015 to 2016. Continuing their education, they obtained a Master of Arts in Expeditionary Studies from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2017. Additionally, in 2008, they participated in a Study Abroad program focused on Culture and Globalization at the School for International Training.
