Michelle Greiner is a Program Manager for the Public Lands Policy Group at Colorado State University since July 2019, with a focus on fire and forest governance. Previously, Michelle served as a Research Associate IV and III in the same group, conducting research on policy opportunities regarding prescribed fire and wildfire decision-making. Prior to this role, Michelle contributed to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a Wildlife Refuge Visitor Survey Intern, gathering data to inform the management of National Wildlife Refuges. Michelle also worked at Northern Arizona University as a Social Scientist and Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching various courses related to environmental science and policy. Michelle initiated a career in higher education at Colorado State University as an Administrative Assistant and Resident Assistant. Michelle holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University.
