Sastry Jayanty is a seasoned academic in the field of horticulture, currently serving as a Professor of Horticulture at Colorado State University since July 2014, where responsibilities include teaching postharvest biology. Sastry previously held the position of Associate Professor at the same institution and was a Research Associate at Michigan State University from 2003 to 2006. Early in the career, Sastry worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory from 1993 to 1998.
