Sonya Le Febre is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in natural resources stewardship and ecosystem science. Since 2007, Sonya has served as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Forest & Rangeland Stewardship Department at Colorado State University and also works as an advisor and instructor for the Master's of Natural Resources Stewardship program. Notably, Sonya was nominated for the CSU Online Innovative Educator (OLIE) Award in Spring 2016. Prior experience includes coordinating a multi-cultural team at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for a National Science Foundation-sponsored conference aimed at enhancing collaboration between sciences and Native communities. Earlier in the career, Sonya served as a Fisheries Extension Agent with the Peace Corps. Sonya holds a PhD and MS in Rangeland Ecosystem Science from Colorado State University, as well as additional degrees in aquaculture, biology, and environmental sciences from various institutions.
