Colorado Youth for a Change
Laura Wilson has extensive experience in the field of education, having served as a Principal at Douglas County School District, Jefferson County Public Schools, and currently as a Master Coach at Colorado Youth for a Change. Laura has a Principal License degree from University of Denver, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, and a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Laura has also been recognized for their achievements, including being named Colorado Elementary Principal of the Year in 2013.
Colorado Youth for a Change
Colorado Youth for a Change addresses barriers to learning by providing individualized supports throughout pivotal stages of students' education journeys. We envision an equitable education system where each student has access to the resources they need to maximize their own learning and growth. CYC is a recognized leader in prevention and student reengagement programming, providing children and youth with one-on-one tutoring, evidence-based interventions, case management, and wraparound support services. CYC partners with school districts across the state, filling gaps in resources and providing one-on-one student support.
