Mattias Nordin has worked in a variety of roles in the past 22 years. From 1998 to 2001, they were a Project Manager at ABB Industrial Systems. Mattias then moved to ABB where they were Manager Development Rolling Mills from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they became Manager Transmission Development at Volvo Construction Equipment and in 2005, they were promoted to VP R&D at Volvo CE, Component Division. From 2009 to 2011, they were Vice President Technology Platforms at Volvo Construction Equipment. From 2011 to 2014, they were Vice President R&D Underground Rock Excavation at Atlas Copco and from 2014 to 2017, they were President Product Management & Innovation at Dometic Group. Since 2017, they have been Senior Vice President Business Development and Chief Executive Officer for Inventech Europe AB and its wholly owned subsidary Coloreel AB.
Mattias Nordin obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Chalmers University of Technology in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1998, and their Master's Degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1992, both in the field of Control Engineering. Lastly, they obtained their Engineering Physics degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1988.
