Cecilia Blengini

Cecilia Blengini is a Senior Scientist specializing in developmental biology, currently working at Colossal Biosciences since 2025. With over 18 years of experience, they have investigated various aspects of gamete biology in model organisms including humans and lizards. Cecilia earned a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from the National University of Córdoba, where they also served as a teaching assistant and conducted related research. Their expertise encompasses project management, laboratory techniques, and mentoring, backed by a strong record of presenting at international conferences. Currently, they are also a Research Facilitator at the Marine Biological Laboratory, focusing on oocyte collection and ICSI techniques.
