Michael D. Brown, MD, MBA, FCCP, currently serves as the Vice President of Radiology Services, Hospitalist Program, and Speech Therapy, as well as Chief Medical Officer, Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician, and Chief Quality Officer at Colquitt Regional Medical Center since August 2015. Prior to this role, Michael held positions including Assistant Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Emergency Team Medical Director, and Assistant Professor of Pulmonary & Critical Care at UAB Medicine from July 2012 to July 2015. Michael's training includes a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and a Residency in Internal Medicine at UAB School of Medicine from July 2006 to June 2012. Educational achievements include a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University Harbert College of Business (2013-2015), a Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine (2002-2006), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology from Emory University (1997-2001).
