Mirek Šimek

Mirek Šimek has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 2003, they worked as an Administrator for 5P s.r.o. In 2005, they joined OS-KOM spol. s r.o., where they served as a Technical Support specialist before becoming the Head of the Technical Department and later a Project and Product Manager. In 2012, they moved to Arvato Services k.s., initially working as a Project Manager and later taking on roles such as Engineering Department Manager, Operations Manager, Facility and Security Manager, and Quality and Security Manager. In 2019, they had interim positions as an Operations Manager for doublepower!! and an Interim Project Manager for SMART proces. Finally, in 2020, they joined Colsys s.r.o., where they worked as an Incident Manager before becoming the Deputy Director of the Division and currently serving as the Business Unit Director. Throughout their career, Mirek has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management capabilities, and a focus on P&L results and cost reduction.

Mirek Šimek completed their high school education from Gy-LA between 1993 and 2000, where they pursued a general education curriculum. Following that, they enrolled at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2000 and graduated in 2007 with a degree in energetics, specifically achieving an Ing. qualification.
