Kathleen joined the Colts in May of 2022 as assistant corps director, handling tour operations for the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps during the summer and assisting both drum corps during the year. She works hand-in-hand with Vicki on many tasks including scheduling, housing, tour logistics, member communications, and volunteer relations.
Within the marching arts community, Kathleen has worked with scholastic programs in the southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey region as a cymbal and visual technician. Most recently, she worked with United Percussion 2 from 2020-2022. The ensemble was promoted from Independent A to Independent Open Class during the 2022 season and became an Open Class Semifinalist in the same season during the ensemble’s first-ever appearance at WGI World Championships.
Kathleen has also been involved within the marching arts community in various support staff and administrative roles. Prior to joining the Red Team, she most recently supported the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps administrative team during their 2021 summer tour.
Kathleen began her cymbal playing career with the Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps. The highlight of Kathleen’s performing career was her time spent with WGI World Class Finalist United Percussion. She also has many fond memories of her time performing with the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band. One of Kathleen’s favorite performance memories includes marching with the University of Delaware drumline as an alumni in the 2021 Presidential Inaugural Parade.
