Erin Murphy, MBA has a wealth of experience in the professional association and nonprofit sector. Erin began their career in 2007 as an Office Manager for the Centennial Village Residence Hall Office at The Catholic University of America. Erin then served as a Research Assistant for the Office of Bridget Prentice in the UK Parliament. In 2009, they interned for the Office of Gabrielle Giffords in the US Congress. In 2010, they were the Chapter Services Administrator for the Association of Fundraising Professionals. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Manager of Member Engagement, Manager of Chapter Relations, and Membership Coordinator for the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada). From 2013 to 2017, they were the Chapter Relations Manager for the Association for Talent Development (ATD). From 2017 to 2021, they were the Senior Manager of Membership and Chapter Strategy and Senior Manager of Chapter Services for ATD. Most recently, Erin was Vice President of Marketing and Director of Product Marketing for Columbia Books & Information Services.
Erin Murphy holds an MBA from American University, which they obtained in 2015, as well as a BA in Politics and Media Studies from The Catholic University of America, which they obtained in 2009. Erin has also obtained two additional certifications: Leading at a Distance from LinkedIn in 2020, and Google Ads Search Certification from Google in 2022.
