Michael Feldman

Michael Feldman, CISSP, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael currently serves as the Director of IT Security & Portfolio at Columbia Care, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, from January 2021 to June 2022, they worked as the CIO - Information Security and Risk Management at gLeaf (Green Leaf Medical, LLC). In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic recommendations and guidance for technology and risk management activities, as well as ensuring compliance with NIST and CISA security standards.

Before joining gLeaf, Michael held various managerial and executive roles. Michael served as the Managing Director at J P Systems, Inc. from June 2019 to January 2021, where they oversaw operations and business development. Michael also worked as a Program Manager at Discovery Digital Networks from January 2019 to April 2019, where they directed multiple projects and implemented standardized development efforts.

In addition, Michael has experience in the financial and IT services sectors. Michael was a Technical Account Executive at Fannie Mae from October 2018 to January 2019, where they planned the transformation of a technical support team into a proactive Sales Engineering organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager of Enterprise Design at Dataprise from April 2016 to March 2018, where they led a team and increased closed business by 10%.

Michael's career also includes managerial roles at Dataprise, Inc., X3O Emerging Technologies, Freddie Mac, and Vaultus. Notably, as the Manager of Strategic Technologies at Dataprise, Inc. from April 2014 to January 2016, they played a key role in the acquisition and integration of X3O Emerging Technologies.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in IT security, risk management, project management, and strategic planning. Michael is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has a track record of implementing secure solutions and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Michael Feldman, CISSP, attended the University of Michigan from 1989 to 1993, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Additionally, they have obtained several other certifications from Dell EMC, including AppAssure in 2017, Compellent Storage Architect in 2015, Dell Networking OS 9 CLI in 2015, EqualLogic Technical Certification in 2015, Dell Wyse vWorkspace Certified Professional in 2015, Compellent Unified Storage with FluidFS in 2014, Dell One Identity - Identity Administration in 2014, Dell Blade Server Solutions - Tech in 2014, Dell PowerEdge Technical Certification in 2014, Dell PowerEdge VRTX Technical Certification in 2014, and Development and Customization-SharePoint in 2014.
