Nicole Herje

Nicole Herje, MSW, LICSW, has extensive experience in the field of social work, currently serving as a School Social Worker at Columbia Heights Public Schools since July 2013. In this role, Nicole focuses on addressing the personal, social, and emotional needs of students to enhance their academic success and overall well-being. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Intern Therapist at EVOLVE Adoption & Family Services, where support was provided to families in a Therapeutic Supervised Parenting program. Nicole also worked as a Family Advocate at Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, handling crisis intervention and family assessments, and has contributed to youth advocacy and tutoring through roles at Pillsbury United Communities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a focus on Family Studies from St. Catherine University.
