Randy Cole has held several roles throughout their work experience. Randy began their career at Central Missouri Community Action as an Energy Assistance Coordinator from June 2005 to November 2007. Randy then joined the Missouri Public Service Commission as a Management Analyst from November 2007 to June 2009. Following that, Randy worked at Central Missouri Community Action again, this time as an Energy Conservation Coordinator from July 2009 to September 2011. Randy then joined the City of Columbia as a Housing Programs Manager in September 2011, where they managed federal and local funds to improve low to moderate income neighborhoods and provided leadership for Columbia Community Land Trust, Inc. Their tenure at the City of Columbia lasted for nearly a decade, ending in April 2021. Most recently, Randy has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Columbia Housing Authority starting in May 2021.
Randy Cole attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA). Their field of study focused on Public Administration.
