Shelby Friedel

Shelby Friedel has had a diverse range of work experiences. Shelby began their career as a Cashier at Kmart Stores from June 2015 to January 2019. Shelby then worked as a Licensed Substitute at Renhill Companies from August 2019 to March 2020. In 2021, they gained coaching experience at i9 Sports, where they co-coached four volleyball teams and worked with athletes ranging from 7 to 14 years old. Shelby also served as an Intern at the City of Ravenna, Ohio from August 2021 to May 2022.

In 2022, Shelby joined the Albert Einstein Academy for Letters Arts and Sciences as a School Counselor in June and later moved on to the Columbia Local School District. At Columbia, they took on the roles of Head Women Basketball Coach and Volleyball Coach, starting in August and October respectively.

Shelby Friedel completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Thiel College, studying from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education - MEd degree in School Counseling at Kent State University, from 2019 to 2022.
