Duane Cooper

Duane Cooper is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership and advocacy. Since January 2017, Duane has served as the Owner of Strategic Films, managing operations and business development. Concurrently, since February 2012, Duane has held the position of Commissioner at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, overseeing budget management and strategic planning. Previously, Duane was the Executive Director of the SC House Democratic Caucus from December 2013 to January 2021, and worked as the Legislative and Advocacy Coordinator for the South Carolina School Boards Association from September 2007 to November 2013, where responsibilities included lobbying and managing grassroots advocacy efforts. Duane's career began as a Regional Director for Inez for Senate from 2003 to 2004. Duane earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hampton University, graduating in 2002.
