Kathryn Lampo serves as Co-President of the Columbia Space Initiative, overseeing over 200 members engaged in diverse projects in space science and engineering. Kathryn has led initiatives such as the design of Columbia's first cube satellite, LIONESS, and directed STEM outreach efforts benefiting more than 1,000 students in underserved schools. Additional experience includes roles at NASA Ames Research Center, where Kathryn performed rotor blade analysis for the Dragonfly mission, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Columbia University's Robotic Manipulation and Mobility Laboratory, developing innovative teleoperation systems. Kathryn has also held research and intern positions at renowned institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and Lockheed Martin. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University, Kathryn participated in a study abroad program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
