Michael Beirne

Michael Beirne, CSSP, CTA, currently serves as the Director of Guest Experience for Columbus Crew, overseeing all Guest Experience elements and ensuring exceptional interactions for both internal and external customers. Beirne has held multiple leadership roles at Columbus Crew, including Director of Event Management and Director of Event Services, with significant experience in hosting major events like the MLS Cup and US Soccer Michael Believes Cup. Prior experience includes serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Oklahoma and various roles within its Athletics Department, overseeing event and facility operations, including NCAA championships. Beirne began a professional career at Miami University, contributing to game operations while also holding teaching positions. Education includes a Master's degree in Sports Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Management & Organizations from Miami University.
