Derrick Henderson

Derrick Henderson is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in coaching and technology. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach for the Columbus Mavericks Hockey Club since July 2024, Derrick also holds the position of Video/Analytics Assistant Coach. Prior to this role, Derrick worked as a Software Engineer at EMS LINQ, Inc. from January 2020 to September 2024. Additionally, Derrick coached the U18 AAA hockey team for the Maine Jr Mariners from August 2023 to April 2024 and was the Head Ice Hockey Coach for the Women's Club at The Ohio State University from August 2016 to January 2019. Derrick's earlier experience includes a role as a Licensed Optician and Lab Manager at The Optical. Co from April 2017 to September 2019. Derrick's educational background includes a completion of a .NET, C# program at Tech Elevator in 2019 and a degree from Bowling Green State University from 1995 to 1999.
