John D. Olson

John D. Olson is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and automation sectors. Currently serving as the National Sales Director at Columbus McKinnon since October 2023, John previously held the position of Director of Sales for North America at montratec, where John D. was instrumental in new business development and market expansion. Prior to that, John was the Senior Sales Manager at SCHMID Group, leading sales for the Automation business unit across the Eastern USA and Canada, and had a successful tenure managing key accounts in the Printed Circuit Board industry. Additional experience includes roles as a Sales Representative at FSI and as the owner of Metro Repair, a sales and service company. John holds educational credentials from Itasca College.
