Emily Meffert has worked in various roles in the hospitality industry since 2013. Emily began as a Club Staff at Fitness 19, then moved to Front Desk Supervisor at Xanterra Travel Collection in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Kodiak Island Resort and a Concierge at Xanterra Travel Collection. In 2016, they were a Front Desk Agent at Delaware North. Emily then moved to Executive Administrator at 21c Museum Hotels in 2018. In 2020, they became a Senior Editor at Symposeum Magazine and a Customer Experience Representative at Nom Nom. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Customer Support Lead at Column.

Emily Meffert completed their Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Vanderbilt University in 2018. Emily also participated in a study abroad program at the School for International Training in 2017, focusing on Tibetan and Himalayan Peoples.
