Alysia Ducuara is the executive director of the nonprofit Get Healthy Utah, whose mission is to foster a culture of health through engaging multi-sector stakeholders, building partnerships, providing resources, and connecting efforts that support healthy eating, active living, and mental well-being. She serves on the board of the Utah Chapter of the Society of Public Health Education and was president of the board in 2021.
She worked at Salt Lake County Health Department for 10 years, where she coordinated chronic disease management and prevention efforts and was a certified wellness coach for the BeWise program.
Ms. Ducuara has a passion for improving the way public health can collaborate with other sectors to improve the quality of life in the communities.
She received her bachelor’s in public health from Brigham Young University and her master’s in health education and promotion from the University of Utah.
