Sean McAvoy

Sean McAvoy is the current Executive Director at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Prior to their current position, Sean was with AlteraMed Group, LLC from January 2007 to December 2008 where they held the position of Client Administrator. Sean was responsible for managing 8 physicians and 27 FTE, as well as assisting in coordinating and managing filing of bankruptcy and associated court reporting. Sean also administered benefits, payroll, and HR functions following cancelation of outsourced arrangement due to bankruptcy. Sean was able to successfully negotiate new vendor contracts following bankruptcy and coordinated organizational consolidation, including workflow remapping, resource evaluation, and realignment. Sean was also instrumental in converting the facility from internal information technology to hosted solution. In addition, they handled a variety of onsite IT issues and maintained adherence to court ordered budget. Sean also worked on planning and implementing a lab as a service line.

From June 2010 to January 2013, Sean served as the CFO for Vista Home Healthcare. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Sean also has experience as an Administrator, holding this position with both the Diagnostic Clinic of Houston from December 2007 to January 2013, and the Diagnostic Clinic of Houston, PA from June 2006 to December 2006. As Administrator, Sean was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
